Before you look at the dogs we have pictured below, please take a second to read the following:
The dogs shown on this page are ones we had available at the time we put their photos on the page. As hard as we try we are always behind with the photos. However, we are always getting new dogs and, in fact, have a backlog of dogs waiting to be placed in rescue. So, if you don't see a dog here that you can't live without, fill out an application anyway and check back here often.
We are not associated with any other rescue. Our qualifications and considerations for adopting may differ greatly from another rescue. If you have filled out an application from another rescue, but have not gotten a response from them, don't let that stop you from applying to us. Thank you and have a good time looking at our "babies."

As well as listing dogs, we will continue to provide referrals to those who need to place their dogs, or to help with counselling when needed. Please see below for dogs available through their owners.

Due to health problems, we do not have any dogs at this time that we are fostering. We hope to be able to list fostered dogs within 6 months.
The following dogs are put on this page as a service to their owners. We have never met these dogs and cannot be responsible for any misleading or incorrect statements about the dogs.
According to her owner Sasha needs a new home soon. She is a senior at 9 years of age and is a Rott/Dobe cross. Her owner has to move and can't take Sasha with her. Sasha is spayed, a little timid, gets along with dogs and cats. She loves playing with her ball, riding in the car to the park and for walks. She is more trusting of women than men and would be great with older children. If you have room in your heart for this senior citizen, please fill out an application and we will forward it to the owner.
At this time For The Love Of Rotts...The Michigan Connection has no dogs in the rescue. If you have a dog that you need to place, and will keep the dog with you, please contact us and we will gladly place the dog on our website and on Petfinders.com. Thank you.
